Halo Water Proofing has been the trusted call for Crawl Space Encapsulation across Elrod because we answer the phone, show up when we say, and stand behind the work.
Free, no-obligation estimates · Real warranties
Halo Water Proofing is a AL-licensed Crawl Space Encapsulation company that treats every Elrod job like it's the only one on the schedule.
We don't run a bidding war between crews. The Elrod technician who inspects your property is the same one who does the repair, start to finish.
Our Elrod crew leads carry years of hands-on repair experience, not just sales training — which is why the advice you get on-site tends to match what actually needs fixing.
One phone call gets you a straight answer and a real appointment — not a vague callback promise.

A musty smell usually means moisture is already moving through your Elrod basement, even if the floor looks bone dry.
Stair-step cracking in block foundations is one of the most common early signs our Elrod crews see.
Efflorescence is a reliable early sign that water is moving through your Elrod foundation wall right now.
A Elrod sump pump that never rests is usually undersized or nearing the end of its life.
This is one sign we tell Elrod customers never to wait on — wall movement tends to progress, not resolve on its own.
Flooring that's cupping near an exterior wall often traces straight back to a basement moisture issue below.
Whatever's going on with your Elrod property, chances are we've already fixed something similar nearby this month.
A flooded Elrod basement doesn't wait for morning, and neither do we. Our crews get it out and start drying the space the same visit.
Get Emergency Help →Not every crack means a structural problem, but every crack deserves a real look. We'll tell you which kind yours is.
Ask About Crack Repair →Most Elrod pump failures happen during the exact storms that need them most, which is exactly why battery backup matters.
Book a Pump Check →For yards fighting bad grading, an exterior French drain intercepts water before it ever touches the foundation wall.
Talk Drainage Options →A damp Elrod crawl space drives up humidity throughout the house — we seal it completely with heavy-duty vapor barrier and add dehumidification where needed.
Get a Crawl Space Quote →We handle below-grade waterproofing for Elrod property managers and business owners, scheduled around your operating hours to limit disruption.
Request a Commercial Quote →No pressure, no scripts — just what actually happens once you call +1-866-476-1348.
You'll talk to a person, not a script — enough of a conversation to know what to expect before anyone shows up.
No jargon, no pressure — just a clear look at what's actually going on.
No verbal number that quietly grows once the truck pulls up — the written quote is the final word.
Our crew completes the repair, cleans up, and walks you through the warranty on what was installed.
We've heard every Elrod horror story about contractors who disappear mid-job or pad the invoice. Here's how we do it differently.
We quote the job in writing after seeing it in person, so there's no surprise on the final invoice.
We're not routing your call through a national center — the person who answers is close by.
Warranty terms are explained in plain language before you sign, with no fine-print surprises later.
We'd rather earn a repeat Elrod customer with an honest fix than push a system you don't need.
We can supply the documentation most carriers ask for before approving a Elrod claim.
Every Elrod job reflects on the next referral, so we treat each one like it matters.
"Called during a storm and had a tech at my door within two hours. Explained everything before touching anything — basement's been dry since."
"Got three quotes for a crack repair. This was the only company that actually explained why the crack was happening instead of just naming a price."
"Crawl space smelled bad for years. After encapsulation, the smell upstairs is completely gone."
"Straightforward commercial quote, professional crew, no back and forth."
"French drain install took two days exactly as quoted, and the yard looked better than before."
"Insurance claim was stressful until they stepped in with photos and a written scope. Approved within a week."
"Crew was respectful of our landscaping during the drain install and left the yard looking better than before they started."
If a covered repair doesn't hold up, we come back and make it right — no arguing, no extra invoice. That's written into every Elrod contract we sign.
